High school yearbook photographs of the 27-year-old, who exchanged vows with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, 28, last Saturday, have surfaced.
The photos reveal that the 2003 valedictorian of Massachusetts' Quincy High School - who coincidentally was raised in a small town near Boston called Braintree - was voted Class Genius and built robots during her school years.
High achiever: High school photographs of Priscilla Chan, pictured above left, have revealed she is quite the genius herself. She is of course married to the billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg
Wedded: The couple were married, shown above, in the Facebook founder's Palo Alto backyard last Saturday
A member of her school's 'robotics' team, Mrs Zuckerberg shared her Class Genius title with a fellow student named Bao Truong.
The high achiever, who got married in Mr Zuckerberg's backyard in Palo Alto, California, was also part of the school's tennis squad from 2002-2003.
Photographs that were published in the school's high school yearbook show her posing with her tennis peers.
Mrs Zuckerberg's valedictorian speech was also printed in the yearbook.
Clever: Another photo shows how she (pictured front row) was part of her school's 'Robotics' team
Star pupil: She included a passage from Dr Seuss in her valedictorian speech that read: 'Congratulations! Today is your day. You're off to great places! You're off and away!' The speech was published in the school's yearbook
The speech read: 'A few weeks ago I was approached with the task of writing a speech for graduation. I tried to write but all I ran into was writer's block. Then I turned to the ever-useful Bartlett's Familiar Quotations.'
The speech also states that she looked to 'Shakespeare, Plato and Dante' before turning to one of her favourite passages by Dr Seuss.
It read: 'Congratulations! Today is your day. You're off to great places! You're off and away!'
She went to Harvard university once she had graduated from high school where she majored in biology.
Player: The photographs, which were published in the school's high school yearbook, show that she was part of the school's tennis squad as well. She is pictured in the front row, third from the right
All rounder: She appears to have been extremely active during her school years, pictured in her tennis outfit again, left, and in another yearbook image that showed the school's robotics team, right
She also taught science to middle school students from 2007 to 2008, describing the job as 'hanging out with the little ones and trying to explain how the world works' on her Facebook page.
She graduated from San Fransisco's UCSF Medical School with a degree in pediatrics.
Mr Zuckerberg met her while they were at a party during college. They had both been standing in line for the bathroom.
She told The New Yorker: 'He was this nerdy guy who was just a little bit out there. I remember he had these beer glasses that said "pound include beer dot H". It's a tag for C++. It's like college humor but with a nerdy, computer-science appeal.'
Success: Her speech was printed in the yearbook, above, as was an image of her giving the speech, right
Fun and games: It appears that she still found time to have fun, pictured above right pulling a face
Smiles: Mrs Zuckerberg, pictured third from the right in the front row, shares a normal life with her husband that includes walks in the park and playing boccee
The couple share a normal life that includes walks in the park, playing boccee and playing the boardgame The Settlers Of Catan, according to People magazine.
She said: 'We try to stick pretty close to what our goals are and what we believe and what we enjoy doing in life - just simple things.'
The Facebook founder told Good Morning America that their dinner conversations are often about kids - and Facebook naturally.
His wife inspired him to start an organ donor program on the social networking site which was launched in May.
